Do You Know It's Hallowe'en?
Here's another little treat for y'all... A story about a little beat-makin' hip shakin' production group. Back in the day before Neon Coyote, Will and I use to make some dope beats yo fo real. This is back when we were still in high school so, you know, our extracurricular activities usually involved chillin' with models on yachts and shit like that, nawmean. But we were growing tired of all that. The two of us just needed a little change of pace. So Will got this drum machine, right. His name was Drrrr, but really it was Dr. Beat or something lame but we thought it wasn't gangsta enough cuz it wasn't no place fo no Gloria Estefan joint. Yeah, he was a cool dude, just had a little bit of a drinking problem, started doing too much crack, dissapeared one day and that was that but that was like a year or two into this thing. My guess is the fame, the women, the fast cars and all that really got to him. So the three of us would always be chillin' watching a skate video or something and just making beats on the side. We were called Double Trouble but often refferred to as Dub Trub, you know in like Rolling Stone or any other whack music mag. The first EP "12:Twelve" came out like what, two or thee years ago and with all that success we was like yo let's just make some mo'. We was straight up cranking beats out son, like woah. The first full length LP "Peace In The Middle East" went platinum, next LP "Paper Scissors Rock" was hot shit and went double platinum, our final LP "Untitled/Self-Titled" was produced around that time Drrrr started falling off so it just got platinum. So Dub Trub had a good run, helped me buy those bentleys I got sitting in the driveway.
This track is off the first LP. It's called Hallowe'en.
Have a happy one ya'll.

A Wonder Of A Song

John Dahlback - Pyramids (Dirty South Remix)
This is one hell of an original, but I have to say Dirty South takes it to the next level.
I still go fucking nuts for the original though.
Turmstrasse
Kollektiv Turmstrasse are from Hamburg.
These remixes are really fucking beautiful.
Both come with the highest recommendation.

Weekly Mix 11 - Is This Goodbye?
So we've now had 4 complaints from Blogger about this here site. The only thing is, all of the complaints have been either against our (Neon Coyote's) remixes, the Weekly Mixes, or tracks that were totes safe to blog. Anyhoo, we might disappear soon, so if we do, make sure you head over to www.myothercomputerisasunset.wordpress.com, and we will give it a go over there. Here's Weekly Mix 11 - a rainy day mixtape I made for personal enjoyment that I've decided to post as a possible goodbye blogger mixtape. It's a lot different than the usual Weekly Mixes, but I promise it's just as good, and definetely as interesting. Enjoy.

Lemonade
Lemonade is from San Francisco. Think Yeasayer x Muscles.
Ghosts On Tape has been a favorite of ours for a while now, this is how he describes his style: "The sound is like electro-dancehall-crunk-reggaeton-turbo grime-tropical bootie-psychedelic-trax era chicago house-speed garage-miami bass-with lots of synthetic hand claps on basically every song. I think." He kind of nails it with that explanation.

With You
Ricardo Tobar is a Chilean producer that I don't really know a whole lot about. I saw one of his tracks on Fake Blood's Beatport Chart, checked it out, and loved it. See for yourself!Swim in Circles

The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart
Nostalgic fuzz pop four-peice The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart are from New York City. Their music is reminiscent of My Bloody Valentine/Belle & Sebastian, if that makes sense. Check this stuff, and maybe I'll throw one of their albums up here later.
