Heavy Deeds

Sun Araw are a psych rock group from California.  Imagine that you're at a bonfire in a big abandoned church surrounded by long haired boys and girls, fur draping over everything and smoke enveloping the room.... Sun Araw would be playing on the altar.

Say Goodbye To What

Here's a link to Bullion's flawless mix for the UK's FACT Magazine.  Along with a new song of his, I'm posting a track off the mix that really caught my attention.  It's from the Krautrock formation Brainticket, who have a pretty cool story behind the album this song is featured on.

"Their first album 'Cottonwoodhill' is said to be an acid trip set to music and is considered one of the most psychedelic albums ever. On the original records inside, it was issued with a warning of 'After Listening to this Record, your friends may not know you anymore' and 'Only listen to this once a day. Your brain might be destroyed!'."  Sweet.

Jus Wan

Jus Wan is a San Francisco based producer that I've been listening to on repeat.  He makes techy, experimental dubstep with great riddims.  If you like these tracks, be sure to check out his Hotflush podcast, a great mix of techy dubstep and reggae.

Jus Wan - QB-41

Jus Wan - Action Potential

Floating Points

Floating Points... another hot shit producer from England.  22 year old Sam Sheppard is alreading djing with seasoned vets like Kode 9 and Four Tet, and his tracks have gotten play from fellow young London producer Joy Orbison.  Here are a couple off his Vacuum Boogie EP. Buy it if you like it.

16bit = versatile dubstep producers/djs Eddie Jefferys (aka Kidnappa) & Jason Morrison (aka DRT) from London.  Shallow is a mellow, downtempo track which samples Joanna Newsom's "The Book Of Right-on." (?!)  Swine Flu is a filthy banger with some completely original sounds.
